Extension to R\u00f8nne Theatre: new backdrop magazine and white wine pavilion, 1985\u201389.<\/p>\n
R\u00f8nne Theatre is Denmark\u2019s oldest original theatre, built in 1783 and extended in 1823.
\nThe original idea put forward by the Amateur Theatre was to enclose the courtyard for theatre events and gatherings, with two new buildings: a storehouse for stage sets and a combined workshop and open-air stage. This was drawn up in 1997 as a preliminary design with an overall plan. <\/p>\n
The magazine building was officially opened in 1989, along with a white wine pavilion in the garden.
\nRestoration of the foyer and theatre auditorium, including new theatre seating, was carried out in 2001 in collaboration with Exners Tegnestue II.
\nThe interior design of the \u00d8stergade wing was carried out by Exners Tegnestue III in 2005.
\nThe new West Wing, featuring an open-air stage as per the preliminary design, was completed in 2010 by Exners Tegnestue III, project no. 276.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
